Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: 350V8! Fuel injection! A/C! Power steering! Lowered short-bed C10 with patina! This is an honest old pickup with more mechanical upgrades than meets the eye! It is a great driver that still retains that classic ‘farm truck’ look that is adored by the masses.
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this C10 is mostly straight, but does show some normal wear and age from use as a truck over the years. There are some damages here and there, as seen in the photos, but they add to the character and the super unique look of this thing! The wood bed is intact, though the wood is old. It is clear the exterior of this truck was left alone on purpose. You just can’t manufacture this kind of look!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint appears to be an older repaint, and is showing its age as seen in the photos. Bear in mind that this is not a fancy paint job, but it is more so a nice old truck with a super cool patina look. Replicating authentic patina is an industry of its own nowadays, but this truck seems to have come by it naturally and that is hard to beat. We wouldn’t have it any other way!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is nearly a complete about-face from the exterior. The seat has been recently recovered, the dash fitted with modern digital gauges and Vintage Air A/C controls, and a tasty aftermarket steering wheel on an aftermarket tilt column. Through and through, this truck is what we would describe as the perfect driver candidate. If you’re looking for a classic truck for weekend fun that isn’t useless as a pickup, this is an ideal choice. While there is some visible wear on some interior components, it is in excellent shape for the age of the vehicle and it is just right to remain comfortable and complete the look without taking away from the patinated exterior.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: This truck fires right up and runs very smoothly. With an MSD fuel injection kit sitting atop the engine, this is no surprise! With the classic combination of a 350V8, and an extremely smooth TH350 transmission, this truck should provide years of service and will be easy to maintain for years to come. Underneath, you’ll find new dual exhaust, front sway bar, front power disc brakes, new rear truck arms & shocks, an aftermarket under-bed fuel tank, and CPP tubular control arms.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The “farm truck” rat rod look, and how smooth it drives!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you don’t like lowered trucks, fuel injection, patina, or fun, this truck is not for you.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The radio and reverse lights are not currently operational.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Whether you’re looking for a cool little parts hauler, shop truck, business advertising vehicle,
or a fun weekend cruiser, this old C10 has a super cool look and would be a fantastic choice!
