1973 Volkswagen Beetle Sedan

HIGHLIGHTS:
1970 1600cc single-port engine
4-speed manual transmission for that authentic VW driving experience!
Classic blue exterior with black vinyl interior
Not fully restored, but full of character!
BODY OVERVIEW:
This Standard Beetle retains its classic silhouette with no major modifications. The driver’s side floor pan has been replaced. It’s a true survivor, and is a fantastic driver candidate. Buyers should note that there are some dings on the passenger side, as seen in the photos, and a scratch on the hood.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW:
The blue paint shows well, but it’s an older repaint with some blemishes. If you’re looking for a flawless concours-quality finish, this might not be your Bug—but if you appreciate originality and the vintage charm of yesteryear, this car delivers!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW:
Step inside, and you’ll find a classic black vinyl interior that shows minor wear as expected for a vehicle of this vintage. It’s comfortable and functional, and takes you straight back to the 1970s! The radio has been deleted, but that just means you get to enjoy the pure sounds of the road and that classic VW rumble!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW:
Mechanically, this Beetle is turn-key and ready to drive. The 1600cc engine runs strong, and the 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. This car fires up easily at the touch of a key every time, and it idles smoothly (well, as smoothly as a VW can!). The 1600 is buzzy, and although under 100 horsepower, it is more than adequate to haul this little Bug and its occupants.
